East Troy, WisconsinTapers' Note: An attempt was made by several long-time non-profit tapers to dialogue with the PJ organization at today's show in Alpine Valley about the taping situation. The bottom line is, no external mics are allowed. Period. DAT's, pre-amps, and other high-end recording equipment is also not permitted. However, this is NOT universely enforced, as someone was spotted with a reel-to-reel recorder up in the lawn area, and while you may get your equipment past security, you run the risk of being tackled mid-show by PJ security (which happened to someone tonight). If you have a little hand-held walkman, don't expect a problem getting it in, but everyone else should just expect to stealth as you always have and abandon any hope of walking in with equipment openly. Tapers are going to continue to try to work things out with the PJ crew over the next few shows, but right now it seems that someone has decided that DAT = commercial bootlegger (when in fact the presence of good-quality tapes of shows would actually kill the market for commercial bootlegs...) We'll keep you posted.Thursday, June 25, 1998:Alpine Valley: setlist is in: See the Concert Chronology and now notes. [Thanks to Jon and Carl Sylvester]

You've all got Ten Club tickets, but no one, not Cox Arena, not Ticketmaster, has a seating diagram for the floor. Well, thanks to Karen Bilotti, who went down to the Arena today and wrote down what the floor looks like IN DETAIL (since the arena says they don't hand out diagrams of the floor seating!), we've been able to put together a seating diagram for the floor, so you can see just how good your seats are! Check out the San Diego listing in Going Mobile, and we vote that we all find her that night and buy that woman a beer or two or three!!
