Directions:When you finally get into Missoula from I-90, get off on Exit 105 "Van Buren Exit" Go to the stoplight and turn right and go 3 blocks until the next light. Turn left there staying in the left lane and by this time you will be able to see the U of M campus. This road will fork, but continue on left until you hit the next stoplight where you will turn left again and this will take you directly into the parking areas for the show. "Campus Drive" is the name of the street that you want, but you will see the fieldhouse/dome and Washington-Grizzly stadium long before you reach it.
Note: A word to the drivers; Although you have heard there is no speed limit in Montana, well, there is a 65 MPH one at night and in the daytime, they will start pulling you over after about 95-100 MPH. I drove past one in a newer model car @ 92 MPH and he did not pull me over. But the worse shape your vehicle's in and visibility/road conditions, the "speed limit" gets lower and lower.

Directions: Take Interstate-25 to the Orchard Road Exit. Go west to Greenwood Plaza Blvd. Turn left (south) to Fiddlers Green.
Or, coming from Salt Lake City, the fastest and most hassle-free way to get to Fiddler's Green is to take C-470 off I-70. C-470 is FAST and connects with I-25. Fiddler's Green is a mere hop, skip, and a jump away. That's instead of fighting the awful Denver traffic.

Notes: "Parking is free, there is a hotel (Rushmore Plaza Holiday Inn) right next to the Civic Center, but summer rates will probably be $100 or so. There are plenty of other hotels/motels in town. This is a big tourist area (with Mt. Rushmore and all), so it is probably a good idea to make reservations. Rapid City is pretty small (population 70,000 or so), so no matter where you stay the drive to the Civic Center should take no longer than 15 minutes."

Opening act: Frank Black
TM venue
Seating chart
Directions: From I-90 North or South exit at Madison Street. Go West on Madison to 1901 West Madison.
Notes: "The United Center is in a TERRIBLE neighborhood...so if you have a choice, don't bring your best car and hide valuables under the seat. Also, I would not suggest going to any of the fast food restuarants in the area. Get back on the tollway heading north or south and you will find something soon enough. Needless to say, gas is also very high priced in the city and most of Cook County. If you are coming from the south, I would highly suggest getting gas (if you need it,) before coming near the city. As well from the north, before you hit Lake Cook Road."
Map
More notes: "Expect to pay at least $10 for parking. Also, the closest nest of reasonably priced hotels that are in a safe area is by O'Hare airport, approximately a half-hour drive from United Center. There are many hotels downtown/Michigan Avenue, but they fill up fast if a trade show is in town, and almost all are over $100/night. In addition, you must take city streets to UC from downtown, but you can take the expressway from O'Hare. City streets in Chicago are slow and unpredictable."

the back of the arena, don't plan on seeing anything and there is a lot of echo near the roof."

Parking: $6. Lots open two hours before showtime. No tailgate parties or alcoholic beverages permitted.
Notes: "It's out in the middle of nowhere, meaning no hotels near by, so you'd probably be best off booking something in Overland Park and just dealing with the twenty-five minute ride to get there and back. (Both Overland Park and the venue are right off the 435 loop which circles the city.)"

Notes: "Vet. Mem. is away from all the main attractions /
parking nightmares in PHX. It is located at the state fair grounds, and
parking is good. If you're coming from out-of-town be careful of the
one-way streets near the venue (believe you me... this part of town is a pain in the butt to drive in and it's easy to get lost). And if you want to enjoy yourself after the show then go south (but not to south) to downtown PHX or Tempe, or you will be shot, raped, murdered, etc. Both downtown PHX & Tempe are active late at night."

Notes: This is a high school football stadium built in the 1940's, a concrete
nightmare with sucky sightlines and echoey sound. The coolest thing about this
venue is that you can take the monorail from downtown to get to the show.
Check out the great web
site put up by the promoter with lots of important information!: No
line before 10am, show will end by 10pm [another $#@! curfew because of noise
restrictions], monorail running until midnight, etc.
