The weather reports foretold it would be a cold night, but by the end of the Alpine show in the middle of nowhere (East Troy, Wisconsin), it was 28 degrees and there was slippery frost on the grass on the lawn. We can only feel admiration for the fans who layered on clothing and huddled together and for Pearl Jam, bundled up like we've never seen them on stage before!With additional outdoor shows scheduled for the rest of the tour, we sure hope this is the worst that it gets! Everybody, plan ahead and stay warm.
