Although 1997 was (for the most part) a year "off" for Pearl Jam, it was the year that Brad toured for the first time. This gave excited fans the opportunity to get acquainted with Brad's wonderful music and exposed people to the incredible vocals of Shawn Smith. This small club tour was split into two legs that peppered the U.S. and helped stave off feelings of "PJ deprivation" that year.
The photo above was taken at a Brad in-store performance in Los Angeles in the summer of 1997 (Aron's Records; 7/28/97).
